Cancellation policy

HK Bussar offers friendly cancellation policies for cancellations related to COVID-19 reasons and force majeure.

If you place a booking on our website HK.FO but test positive when in the Faroe Islands or if your flight to the Faroe Islands is canceled due to COVID-19, or any force majeure reason such as war, earthquakes or similar reasons, you will get a full refund. Alternatively, you can choose to reschedule your trip to another date.

All cancellations must be made by e-mail. HK Bussar  is making every effort to ensure the best protection for the client in case of cancellations.

Day tours

These terms apply to day tours and activities booked on HK.FO when cancelled by traveller:

  • a) For cancellations more than 48 hours before the start of the activity, you will receive a full refund (small processing cost taken by the payment provider).
  • b) For cancellations 48 hours or less before the start of the activity or in case of no-show, no refund.

Multi-day tours

If you need to adjust your travel plans to the Faroe Islands, please kindly email us and we will try our best to present you with an alternative plan. These terms apply to multi-day tours and vacation packages.

  • More than 7 days prior to arrival/tour date – 100% refund (small transaction fee taken by payment provider)
  • 3-7 days prior to arrival/tour date – 50% refund
  • Less than 48 hours prior to arrival/tour date or in case of no-show – no refund

Cancellations by HK Bussar

HK Bussar reserves the right to cancel due to bad weather and technical problems. Please note that HK Bussar evaluates and makes the decision to cancel the tour due to bad weather, not the customer. In this case, we first try to re-schedule, if not possible, the customer will be refunded (a small transaction fee is taken by the payment provider).

By using www.hk.fo or any HK Bussar affiliated website, you agree to be legally bound by these terms, which shall take effect immediately.

You agree not to use this site to make any speculative, false or fraudulent requests. You agree not to use robots or other automated means to access this site, unless specifically permitted by HK Bussar.

You represent and warrant that you (a) have not previously been suspended by HK Bussar or otherwise banned from the site; (b) are not a direct competitor of HK Bussar; (c) that you have full power and authority to enter into these Terms of Service and in doing so will not violate any other agreement to which you are a party.
